Ethics
Ethics are what you believe in.. What you think is morally right and morally wrong and if you believe in an all superior being God these are all aspects of ethics.. As a teacher you must try to be a neutral party in the school building. Some parents may be against your beliefs or religious views and as a teacher it is best to just not let those things slip out. Instead I would suggest to display your ethics through your actions. For example, if I am a christian I believe my co-workers will be able to characterize me as a christian by the way I act such as being polite, showing kindness to facility/parents and the way I present myself. By displaying your faith this way it cannot harm you in the classroom as a teacher. A pro about ethics in school can display the role models of the school. The teachers that truly strive for success and display some ethical beliefs by their actions are perfect role models for their students. A con of ethics would be if your religious views skipped out in some way and a dispute occurred between you and some parents. This could ruin your career and cause a major fault in your teaching.

I chose to live in the community where I taught so that I could be a role model, so that I could live my life and witness about my God in actions. Since I taught in a public school, I did not talk about God in the classroom, but... a lot of my students spent time with me outside the classroom and it was amazing how often one of the topics of our conversations was our loving God. It was also amazing to learn how many of my students and my colleagues were also Christians. :)
