Virtual Tours

A virtual tour is a simulation of an existing location, usually composed of a sequence of video images. They also may use other multimedia elements such as sound effects, music, narration, and text. The phrase "virtual tour" is often used to describe a variety of video and photographic-based media.

I could use this type of multimedia in the classroom when trying to help my students visualize a certain place.  For example if I was teaching about different ecosystems I could use a virtual tour to show my students real and diversified ecosystems from around the world

  1. Do you think your students could benefit from creating virtual tours themselves?
